•  As I begin my nineteenth year in education, I feel very fortunate and am appreciative to be the leader of Whitney Intermediate School.  I continue to learn more each day about how to encourage and motivate students to learn and become responsible, reliable adults with integrity.
My education began at Crawford ISD , continued to McLennan Community College, followed by Tarleton State University.  My degrees consist of a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Master of Science in Physical Education, and Principal Certification.  My career in education began at McGregor ISD in 1997 as a science teacher/coach.  My wife, Jennifer, and I moved to Whitney in 1999 where I continued to teach and coach.  I left Whitney ISD in 2009 to accept an administrative position in Clifton ISD.  In 2011, I returned to Whitney ISD as the assistant high school principal.  I became the principal of Whitney Intermediate school in the spring of 2014 and continue to serve the community of Whitney in that capacity.
I am blessed to have a wonderful family and appreciate their support each day.  My wife Jennifer and I have been married 17 years and have two awesome children, Jaedyn and Peyton.  In my free time, I spend as much time as I can with my family and love to bowhunt and play golf.
