Selection for membership in the Whitney High School Chapter of the National Honor Society will take place annually during the spring semester. Candidates must be a sophomore, junior, or senior and must have attended WHS for at least one semester. Candidates must have a cumulative grade point average of 95 or above. A five-member Faculty Council will select new members from those students who submit eligibility materials by the due date and show evidence of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Once selected and inducted, all members are expected to maintain the standards by which they were selected and fulfill all obligations of membership.
