I am very excited to have your child in English 3 this year.  Your child will be reading and writing every day to achieve several goals including:  Increased problem solving skills and thought processes, Increased vocabulary, Develop and increase writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills.  

Communication between teacher and parents/guardians is an integral part of your child's success in school.  In addition to google classroom, there are two other ways to get in touch with me.  My email address is lynda.summers@whitneyisd.net or call the front office and ask for my extension, #5230.  The best time to reach me is from 8:30-9:00 am or at 12:30 or just leave a message, and I will get back to you.

Supplies for class:  composition booklet, notebook paper, pens, pencils, highlighter and computer.  Donations of Kleenexes would also be reatly appreciated.
