I am thrilled to start my first year at Whitney Intermediate School for the 2022-2023 school year. I started my career in education 10 years ago. My experience ranges from kindergarten to fifth grade. I have been a general education teacher (self-contained and departmentalized), RTI coordinator, instructional specialist, technology liaison, and new teacher mentor. My favorite part of being in education is seeing students succeed inside and outside the classroom. There is nothing quite like seeing a student being successful, having fun, and finding something they are good at. 

My husband and I married shortly after we graduated from college. We have two energetic boys, one funny girl, and three wild dogs. We love to go camping, attend sporting events, and spend days on the lake. My family brings me so much joy and they couldn’t make me more proud. 

My goal is to continue to build a positive culture, student and teacher success, and build strong relationships with students, teachers, and families. I cannot wait to see what this year brings.
