    2022 - 2023 Whitney High School Registration Information

     

    NEW STUDENTS

    Students new to the district must register in person on our high school campus. Please bring the following to register:

    1. - proof of residency showing physical address (utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)
    2. - social security card
    3. - birth certificate
    4. - shot records
    5. - valid driver’s license/state issued ID of the enrolling parent/guardian
    6. - report card/transcript from previous school (if available)

    RETURNING STUDENTS

    All returning students will register online, including incoming freshman. Devices will be available at WHS for those who do not have access to a computer or the Internet.

    Registration forms can be accessed thru parent portal.  This link can be found under the parents' tab on the district website.

    • - A parent/guardian will need to login with the email used to create the account. This email must be the same one that is on file with your child's school.The system will not allow the email to be changed for an active account.
    • - If a parent/guardian does not have a parent portal account, one can be created. You will need to contact the school for your student's portal ID once your account is created. 

    Please complete the online paperwork, upload a photo of valid driver’s license/state ID, and upload the proof of residency showing physical address (utility bill, lease agreement, etc.).

    • - After the online registration is completed, students will need to pay fees online or in person, register for parking, and see counselors for scheduling.

     

    FEES - high school fees can be paid at time of registration or online -

    Students must pay all fees and dues prior to receiving a class schedule. 

    • - Activity/ID Fee - $25 (The activity fee is collected in lieu of holding campus fundraisers. This fee will carry over each year with their class and will be used for prom, graduation, and activity expenses.)
    • - Parking Permit - $5 (Students must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance to receive a parking permit. Students will be able to choose a parking space after the fee is collected and registration is completed.)
    • - (Optional) Student Laptop Insurance Plan - $20 (to be paid at registration via Venmo or cash/check)

     

    SUPPLIES

    Students will need pens, pencils, notebook paper or spirals, and a folder for each class.

    All other supplies will be announced by individual teachers at the beginning of the year.

    Lockers are available for each student to use at the high school, but the student will need to supply a lock.

  • Parking permit

     

    NOTICE TO WHS STUDENTS AND PARENTS -

    WHS students must park in their designated parking space in the student parking areas during school hours. Students who have not purchased a parking pass must do so in the office with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. School issued parking permits must be visible at all times if parked on school property. Failure to park in the assigned student space will result in a $5 fine for the first offense and $10 for each additional violation. Failure to comply can result in parking privliges being revoked.
